Compensation : $150,000.00 to $300,000.00
The Role :
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering compassionate, individualized mental health care to seniors in the comfort of their homes, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including evaluating mental health status, cognitive function, and behavioral concerns in elderly patients.
- Developing and implementing personalized mental health care plans, addressing conditions such as depression, anxiety, dementia, and other geriatric psychiatric disorders.
- Prescribing and managing psychotropic medications while monitoring patients for side effects, interactions, and treatment efficacy.
- Collaborating seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams, including primary care physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure holistic and integrated patient care.
- Providing crisis intervention and mental health education for patients and their families, enhancing their understanding and management of mental health conditions.
- Building trusting relationships with patients, families, and caregivers through empathy, active listening, and exceptional communication.
- Documenting and monitoring progress to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of treatment plans, adjusting care strategies as needed.
