Director of Finance and Accounting
Our non-profit client is seeking a Director of Finance & Accounting to join their Philadelphia, PA team. Hybrid work environment (two days in office).
The Director will work closely with senior leadership on all aspects of operational and financial decision making for the organization and should have a passion for nonprofit.
Responsibilities
The Director of Finance and Accounting will be responsible for :
- Supervising and mentoring various teams, including 990 tax preparation
- Assisting with data repositories and integration enhancements
- Supporting budgeting and planning processes
- Assisting with cash flow and forecasting management
- Overseeing financial management practices and internal controls development and implementation
- Managing accounting processes, including revenue and accounts receivable reporting and reconciliation
- Regularly monitoring financial and cash flow data
- Performing financial reporting analysis
- Coordinating audits and tax return preparation and filing
Skills / Competencies :
The Director of Finance and Accounting will possess these skills :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 5-7 years financial management experience within an established organization
- Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
- Blackbaud, Sage Intacct, and Abila MIB systems experience a plus
- Through knowledge of grant tracking, organizational budgeting, general accounting principles, and financial management
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication skills
Additional Details :
Salary : $150k + bonus + excellent benefits
Employment Type : direct hire
The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
