Description & Requirements The program provides a virtual service in support of patient care and treatment for a targeted audience.

Using a patient-centric approach, the clinical and non-clinical team will assess and direct callers to the appropriate level of care, source providers, facilitate medical appointments and answer program questions.

This person will direct all Quality Control and Quality Assurance management operations including planning, implementation monitoring and reporting functions to ensure compliance objectives and targets are achieved for the assigned program.

Demonstrates knowledge of quality assurance best practices. *Position is contingent upon contract award* Essential Duties and Responsibilities : - Oversee the day-to-day functions of the Quality Assurance (QA) department.

  • Manage an effective quality assurance program that monitors and resolves issues before they become problems. - Supervise the development and regular update of policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate the need for and ensure the provision of necessary training for project personnel, providing up-to-date information on relevant programs, community resources, and options for consumers.
  • Arrange staff training on a regular and ongoing basis. Ensure project training program meets all corporate requirements.
  • Provide project leadership with updates on all issues regarding quality, operations, training, and policy and procedures.
  • Provide leadership to all staff in the areas of quality improvement as it relates to process improvement, customer service and conflict resolution.
  • Prepare reports and briefings for project leadership and review monthly and quarterly project status reports provided to the Department.
  • Manage all Quality Control and Quality Assurance staff including Manager(s), Supervisor(s), and Analyst(s) - Direct all quality monitoring activities including planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting functions - Collaborate with technical staff to design and develop reports - Manage internal and external clients' expectations related to quality management, and effectively communicate corporate quality standards across the project - Extract, aggregate, pivot, review, analyze and present data to management - Suggest methods for improving product and service quality, design and / or business processes and participate in development of improvement methods - Document "best practices" and continuously measures outcomes for desired results and improvements - Act as the subject matter expert in quality control and quality assurance for all employees engaged in quality and performance monitoring - Support staff training as needed - Monitor all operations and related metrics for conformance with internal, external, contract performance, and quality standards - Maintain an awareness of state and federal quality assurance practices in health and human service programs and provides all project teams with updates on current issues - Monitor and support compulsory program certification requirements - Participate in identification and selection of new staff for the Quality Program - Comply with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability) privacy rules - Occasional travel, as needed Remote Work Requirements - HIPPA compliant workspace - Reliable high-speed internet Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 5+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Transparency Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment.

Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.

Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.

An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
