TAT Limco on Tulsa, OK has an openings for Bench Mechanic. This position checks and repairs Aircraft Heat Exchangers and / or Aircraft Oil Cooler structural parts.
Responsibilities
- Works under immediate supervision of team lead and / or supervisors
- Coordinates work with superiors on daily production targets and expectations
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
- Initial test units
- Cut up and debur parts
- Repair units
- Detail units
- Prepare units for sand blasting and / or painting
- Final testing
- Inspection of units
- Final detailing (applying alodine, installing tag)
- Documentation : work, work orders
- Additional duties as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read or learn to read blueprints
- Mechanical ability with proven experience as assembler
- Ability to work 6 : 30 am to 3 : 00 pm during training period
- Ability to work second shift hours of 3 : 00 pm to 11 : 30 pm after training period
- Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends
- Maintain high level of focus for long periods of time
- Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers
