Maxime’s is the newest opening from the club owner and entrepreneur Robin Birley; owner of prestigious private member’s clubs 5 Hertford Street and Oswald’s in London.
Opening early in 202 5 , Maxime’s is located on Madison Avenue, New York on the site of the former Westbury Hotel and will continue the long-established Birley tradition of providing exceptional experiences for our members and guests.

Servers at Maxime’s play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining and beverage experience through friendly, attentive, and professional service and impeccable order execution.
Servers work closely the Captain and front-of-house team members to create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure the highest possible level of member satisfaction, elevating Maxime’s brand and service standards at all times .
ESSENTIAL
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains complete knowledge of Maxime’s policies and procedures and ensures that all practices and policies are being upheld
- Fosters a warm and welcoming atmosphere, attending to all members’ needs in a courteous and professional manner
- Assists the Captain and service teams in fulfilling any members’ requests and facilitating a continuous flow of service
- Maintains thorough knowledge of all food and beverage menu items to assist members with any dietary concerns or issues, including any dietary preferences and / or food allergies
- Ensures that inquiries are addressed in a timely , professional, and effective manner
- Processes food and beverage orders as needed, ensuring accuracy when entering orders into POS
- Ensures proper timing and coursing of each meal
- Adheres to all Department of Health and safety standards related to food handling, hygiene, and alcohol service
- Supports all front-of-house team members in providing exceptional hospitality
- Attends mandatory meetings
- Adheres to posted schedules
- Completes daily opening and closing side work
- O ther duties as assigned by management
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS)
- 1+ year minimum experience in fine dining or similar caliber concept
- High school diploma or GED
- TIPS certification required
- Ability to work a variable schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, per the needs of the business
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills
- Adaptable in a fast-paced and challenging work environment
- Polished personal presentation that meets Company standards
- Passion for exceptional hospitality, food, and beverages
