Advanced Health Care of Hanover, is a 46-bed short term skilled nursing facility looking for a Admissions Nurse Manager to join the team.

In this role, you will work with and support our dynamic team of nurses and CNAs, build relationships with patients and their families, and impact lives through the care you provide.

This Nurse Manager position works closely with patients while admitting them to the facility and planning their successful discharge.

Through adherence of current federal, state, and local standards, and our commitment to clinical and rehabilitative excellence, you will ensure the highest degree of patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Complete the admission process of a new patients *
• Ensure the smooth transition of patients upon admission.
• Participate in surveys and inspections.
• Coach, teach and mentor.
• Support AHC culture by promoting Friendly, Positive, and Focused on Excellence .
• Serve as the RN Supervisor on duty.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Schedule : *12p-10p, every other weekend.

Job Qualifications :

• Must be a state licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.
• Must be knowledgeable of general and rehabilitative nursing and medical practices, procedures, laws, guidelines, and regulations.
• Preferred previous experience in a hospital or health care facility.
• A positive attitude, and a genuine love and care for the geriatric population.

Physical Requirements :

• Regularly required to walk, sit, stand, bend, reach, lift, and move about.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
