Join our team as a Dental Care Assistant, where you will play a vital role in supporting dental care delivery and ensuring a positive experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare the treatment room and ensure it is ready for each patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
  • Welcome and comfort patients, assisting them into their seats and providing draping as necessary.
  • Answer patient and employee questions, providing clear and helpful information.
  • Assemble dental instruments by sterilizing and positioning them for the dentist's access, as well as handing instruments during procedures.
  • Prepare and provide materials, including mixing and placing them as required during treatments.
  • Conduct radiographic studies by exposing and developing images, as well as preparing study casts through pouring, trimming, and polishing.
  • Assist in maintaining patient appearance and function by fabricating temporary restorations and cleaning removable appliances.
  • Be prepared for dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification and inventorying emergency supplies.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative care to ensure ongoing health.
  • Document dental services accurately in patient records.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect patient information at all times.
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment by adhering to all procedures and regulations.
  • Follow infection control policies to safeguard the health of patients and staff.
  • Ensure dental equipment is functional by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and managing repairs as needed.
  • Manage inventory levels of dental supplies and anticipate future needs to maintain adequate stock.
  • Use resources wisely to optimize efficiency and contribute to team goals.
