Radiology Tech
Global Service Resources is looking for an experienced Radiology Tech to work at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA 90502.
Reg Rate : $49.50-$50 / hr.
Shift Schedule : Looking for candidates who can work any shifts depending on the need of the department. Candidates that are available for just one shift will limit their usage as well as available hours.
Assignment will be up to 40 hours for candidates with flexible schedules.
Contract Duration : Indefinite, based on performance and attendance.
JOB DUTIES :
- Performs digital radiographic procedures limited to the scope of practice (chest, extremities, and torso-skeletal). Skull preferred but not required
- Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; recording medical history, and confirming the purpose of visit.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, and reading professional publications.
Requirements :
- Valid Rad Tech Certification or license in the state of CA. (ARRT or ARDMS License & Fluoroscopy or CRT License)
- Minimum of 1+ year of experience working as a Rad Tech in hospital setting within the last 3 years preferred, clinical experience does NOT count
- Basic Life Support Certification
