Performs necessary clean-up and sanitation maintenance activities for the food preparation and storage facilities
Handles, with care, all fine china and glassware to ensure proper cleaning and storage of each.
Load, run and unload dish machine
Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately
Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle
Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware
Keep dish area clean and organized
Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen
Bag and haul kitchen trash to dumpster at designed times
Separate and dispose recyclable trash
Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies
Clean food preparation and production areas as required
Sweeps and mops kitchen floors daily before leaving
Cleans and safely stores all brooms, mops, and other cleaning equipment in their proper places
Work with team to coordinates the activities of ware and pot washers, night cleaners and other non-cooking kitchen workers to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen
Assures use of proper sanitation and hygiene techniques for all cleaning tasks
Helps distribute food and beverage products and supplies throughout the kitchen
Cleans food production, holding and serving equipment
Assists with product receiving and / or storing activities
Maintain and clean employee dining room buffet twice daily
Maintain towels, soup in dispensers employee bathrooms
Properly stock soap and paper towels at all employee hand wash sinks in both kitchens as needed
Spray back loading dock daily and wash this area weekly (not during freezing temperatures)
Maintains neat professional appearance and always observes personal cleanliness rules
Performs all tasks requested by the Manager on Duty
Requirements :
Must be able to climb stairs
Must be able to lift 35 pounds daily
Constantly walks and stands
Constantly reaches, bends, lifts, carries and stoops
Frequently washes hands
Hazards include, but are not limited to, cuts, burns, slipping, tripping and falls
Must have a positive, upbeat, friendly attitude and enjoy providing five-start customer service
Must be a team player who can develop strong and positive working relationships with all coworkers
