Part-Time Lab Director, Gas Chromatography
Harreda Talent Partners is seeking a Part-Time Lab Director with Gas Chromatography experience to support one of our well established CLIA Certified Diagnostics Laboratory clients located in north-eastern US.
The ideal candidate will have a robust background in Gas Chromatography (GC) and Mass Spectrometry (MS), alongside a proven track record in laboratory management.
This role offers a flexible schedule and can be undertaken alongside other employment, with required hours likely to be 1 or day per week (or equivalent).
Key Responsibilities :
- Subject matter expert for Gas Chromatography testing.
- Collaboration with wider business to support development initiatives, including in the field of Mass Spectrometry.
- Support in oversight of laboratory testing and personnel.
- Further responsibilities as mutually agreed, based upon expertise and capacity of candidate.
Qualifications :
- Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master’s) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Experience in gas chromatography is essential, and mass spectrometry is preferred.
- Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
- Prior Lab Director experience.
- Board of Pharmacy is highly advantageous.
