We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Permanent Senior Accountant and Real Estate Operations Manager in the hospitality industry.

This dynamic role will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to contribute to our company's financial success while honing their skills in vendor management, bookkeeping, property management, land development, real estate investments, and GL accounting.

The candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our real estate operations and ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of our financial reporting.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee and manage all financial aspects of our real estate portfolio, including property management, land development, and real estate investments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including debits and credits, using Quickbooks.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss (P&L) statements.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts to ensure the best terms for our company.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with senior management to set budgets, financial forecasts, and strategies.
  • Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of junior accountants and administrative staff.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior accountant role, preferably in the real estate or mortgage industry.
  • Proven experience in vendor management, bookkeeping, property management, land development, real estate investments, debits and credits, and GL accounting.
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks and other financial software.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
