Full-Time Nights - 2 years level III NICU experience minimum requirement.

Must have Level 3 experience , Line management UVC / UAC , Respiratory management Conventional Ventilation, High frequency Jet Ventilation (HFJV),

and Must be able to see Micro Pre 23 weeks and up

Patient Population : Neonates

Patient Ratios : 1 : 2, 1 : 3 depending on acuity

Number of Beds : 17 (13 of which are private rooms)

Department Specifics : Level 3 NICU designation; Level 3 Maternal designation; NNP on-site 24 / 7; Opportunity to cross-train to New Family Unit (Post-Partum / Well-Baby Nursery) & L&D, Opportunity for RN’s to be involved in improvement projects, Shared Governance, department committees and councils. The hospital carries multiple designations including Level III Trauma, Chest Pain Accreditation, Primary Stroke Accreditation, Maternal and Level III NICU.

Nursing is on their journey towards Pathways to Excellence and will seek Magnet designation once they complete Pathways.

Qualifications

Grad of an Accredited Program

Specialized field of study should be nursing.

A current and valid nursing license.

Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
