Data Analyst (Finance)
Overview :
- Gathering and interpreting data.
- Gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Defining and documenting processes (process flows / swim lanes).
- Resolving transaction / data / process discrepancies.
- Identifying opportunities to automate, streamline, and standardize data and processes.
- Creating business requirements documents and functional specs for technical solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Gather and analyze data.
- Interpret gathered data.
- Submit reports to relevant department heads and management.
- Identify patterns and trends in data.
- Help teams achieve business goals and needs.
- Formulate documentation.
- Track and reconcile data.
- Define, track, and monitor KPIs.
- Gather and document requirements as per SGWS PMO.
- Identify risks and define mitigation plans.
- Define project objectives and scope.
- Create functional specs and work with developers to translate them into technical specs.
- Develop and track QA scripts for business functionality testing.
- Perform light configuration and use tools (Alteryx, SQL, etc.).
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to prioritize activities by business value and urgency.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Entry-level.
- Critical thinker, influencer, results-oriented.
- Strong team player, highly collaborative.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and quantitative analysis skills.
- Understanding of IT processes and ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
- Excellent customer service skills.

- Proficiency in high mathematical concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
