Certified Nursing Assistant

Thrive Support Services, Inc. is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide care and support to a person with Cerebral Palsy.

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced CNA who takes pride in improving another person’s quality of life.

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is to provide routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the client’s care plan, and as directed by the supervisor.

The individual supported has Cerebral Palsy and requires total personal care such as safe client transfer, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal planning and preparation, medication administration and community outing.

Other duties will include light housekeeping.

Location : Berkeley, CA

Hourly rate : $23.00 - $25.00

Work Schedule : Monday through Friday 3 : 00 pm - 10 : 00 pm

Hiring Bonus : $250.00 (after 30-days) and another $250.00 (after 90-days)

QUALIFICATIONS :

At least one (1) year experience working as a CNA

A valid CNA license and CPR certifications

Previous experience in skilled nursing a plus, but not required.

Caring team player and customer service focused personality.

Ability to multitask and stay organized through daily duties.

High level of accountability and dependability

Must be able to provide hands-on care and support including bathing, dressing, changing depends, assist with medication, etc.

Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Must be able to pass DOJ fingerprinting / criminal background check

Must be able to obtain CPR / First Aid certification

Must be able to obtain TB test result
