UT Southwestern Medical Center Department of Dermatology seeks a Medical Director for Pediatric Dermatology. The incumbent will provide clinical care to inpatients and outpatients and direct Pediatric Dermatology educational programs for residents in dermatology and pediatrics as well as medical students at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Engagement in other academic pursuits is encouraged and is intended to include development of a Pediatric Dermatology fellowship, presentation of scholarly lectures, and pursuit of clinical and / or translational research.
Candidates must hold board certification or eligibility in Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology and have, or be eligible for, a Texas medical license.
Successful candidates will be responsible for establishing and directing an academic clinical practice in Pediatric Dermatology and holding a primary faculty appointment in the Department of Dermatology at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule. Appointment rank will be commensurate with professional accomplishments and experience.
