You should strive to understand user needs and preferences, ensuring that every interaction is intuitive and delightful.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, data scientists, and product leaders to create intuitive interfaces that seamlessly connect users with our Athena Platform.
Responsibilities :
User-Centric and Competitor Analysis
Dive deep into user needs with Product Leaders and various stakeholders understand their needs, behaviors, and pain points.
Translate complex ideas into understandable concepts that evolve and enhance
product experience
Support product definitions through discovery sessions
Innovation and Design
Imagine interfaces for next-gen energy storage devices, virtual power plants, and AI-driven grid management
Rapidly iterate through wireframes and interactive prototypes to validate concepts.
Clearly express design decisions and rationale to stakeholders, clients, and internal teams.
Collaboration
Work closely with designers, developers, and cross-functional teams.
Embrace and advocate for an experience mindset
Demonstrate experience with design tools to deliver concepts and enable collaboration and successful delivery or artifacts.
Qualifications : Experience
Experience
At least 6 years of experience
Proven track record in UX design, preferably in tech or energy sectors.
Bachelor's Degree in Design (e.g., Interaction, Graphic, or Industrial), User Experience, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
Applicable work experience may be substituted for education requirements.
Skills
Working with Design Systems.
Leveraging Figma and Figma Libraries (Sketch, XD Adobe).
Agile Practices.
Adaptability - Thrive in ambiguity and embrace change.
Ability to work seamlessly with internal teams, including Product Management, Developers, Engineers, Architects, QA, and business stakeholders.
Proficiency in driving iterative design reviews, synthesizing feedback, and closing on design requirements independently.
Portfolio : Well-curated design portfolio for review.
Location : East Coast / Eastern Timezone Remote
Salary Range : $114,080 to $171,210
