About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Emergency Room Job Duration : 8 Weeks Shift : Night Shift - 11.5 Hours Guaranteed Hours : Choice of 34.
5 or 46 Hours Per Week Experience : Minimum 2 Years of Experience in Specialty within the Last 3 Years License : New York State RN License Certifications : - Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification - American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) - American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA PALS) Must-Have : - BSN degree - Travel experience or local NYC experience - Experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting - Willingness to float to units appropriate for skillset - Experience in a large academic setting (teaching hospital) - COVID Vaccination prior to start date - EMR experience - Skills checklist in required skill set matching Job Description : - Work in a fast-paced, high-ratio emergency room environment - Handle a patient ratio of 1 : 8+ - Perform duties with floating requirements to areas within acuity - Participate in a weekend rotation every other weekend - Adhere to vaccination requirements with no declinations accepted - Wear designated scrubs : Navy bottom with dark shoes or all white attire - Complete a Voice Advantage Interview and Nurse Manager Screening / Interview required - Offers are valid for 48 business hours after issuance Notes : Ensure to apply promptly as offers are subject to rescind if not confirmed within the designated timeframe.
