job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAssociate of Arts / Science in Electrical Engineering or Technology, with four (2) year's comparable experience. Certificate of Completion from a Technical Trade School years in process of attaining and / or Advanced Military technical school, plus four (4) year's comparable work experience Good computer skills, including familiarity with MS Word and Excel. Ability to use basic electronic test and measurement equipment, such as DVM's, Digital Power meter, oscilloscopes in mid-level, and to correctly interpret the results. Experience with high voltage testing a major plus. Set up UPS (uninterruptible power supply). Perform product testing and operation of product. Be able to operate switchgears, switchboards, and load banks. Be able to open and close AC / DC circuit breakers. Customer interacting during FAT.
An American electric vehicle manufacturing company is actively looking for a detail-oriented Test Technician to join their team. This is an initial 6-month CT role with potential for extension located in the Fairfield, Ohio location. It is Monday-Friday and has first and second shift availability.
