Description

Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.

This position will perform data analysis to provide insight for SIOP demand planning and supply planning requirements and execute plans with the SIOP Team and in partnership with each department to address possible gaps.

Analyze and assess demand planning, forecasts and execution plans while identifying possible gaps with production capacity and escalate issues as needed.

Plans and schedules workflow for Major Production Programs with each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times to ensure established inventory levels are met while operating at the highest efficiency possible.

Support and expand on all opportunities to level load the plan to drive improvements in inventory, fulfillment, cycle time, capacity management and growth for Major Production Programs.

Assist in quantifying and defining the scope for capacity, resources, logistics and supply chain planning.

Works with manufacturing team and develops monthly production volume planning using the business forecast, inventory position, actual customer orders, and capacity parameters focusing on Major Production Programs.

Prepare and track appropriate metrics to drive results and continuous improvements.

Creates and executes plan for every part and maintain master data for purchased parts, sub-assemblies, end items and other parts as required to maintain BOM master integrity.

Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.

Prepares production reports.

Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.

Maintains timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents to assure accurate retention of records.

Assures that the commodity is delivered on schedule, at the negotiated price, and meets the quality standards of the company.

Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools and human resource requirements.

Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers.

Prepares lists of required materials, tools, and equipment.

Prepares purchase orders to obtain materials, tools, and equipment.

Daily availability to include evenings and weekends when necessary to reach goals and deadlines.

Requirements :

  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office and Inventory Software.
  • 1-3 years directly related experience.
  • Follow all import / export requirements.
  • Basic knowledge of ISO and / or AS9100
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / 6 sigma / Kaizen
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work independently.

California Pay Transparency Statement

Please note the salary range posted below is a general guideline for this job level and location. When extending an offer, a variety of factors are considered such as responsibilities of the position, relevant education and experience, certifications, knowledge and skills.

Salary Range :

$93,500.00-$125,950.000
