- Special Requirements : Required Work Setting Experience : MS / Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry.
- Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills / Experience : Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams.
- Required Cardiovascular Case Skills / Experience : Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre / Post Cardiac Cath, Pre / Post Cardiac Surgery, TR Band.
- Required Gastrointestinal Case Skills / Experience : Feeding tube care and management.
- Required Genitourinary / Renal Case Skills / Experience : Pre / Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure.
- Required IV therapy / Phlebotomy Skills / Experience : Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care / management, Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care / Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs.
- Required Medication Experience / Skills : Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, PCA, Procedural Sedation Administration, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips.
- Surgical drain experience required.
- Required Respiratory Case Skills / Experience : Chest tubes-Emerson / Pleur-evac, External CPAP / BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy Management.
- Required Professional Topics and Skills : Isolation Precautions, Wound Care / Wound Vac.
- Code blue / rapid response experience preferred.
- Cerner experience preferred.
