The RN Unit Manager plays a crucial role in theskilled nursing facility contributing to the overall success of theorganization by ensuring the delivery of compassionate competentand comprehensive nursing care.
This position requires a dedicatedand compassionate individual who is committed to upholding thehighest standards of nursing practice and enhancing the wellbeingof residents in their care.
This leadership position involvesoverseeing the nursing unit managing staff and collaborating withinterdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patientoutcomes.
- Lead and direct nursing staff ensuringadherence to facility standards.
- Evaluateperformance mentor staff and support professionalgrowth.
- Develop individualized care plans incollaboration with healthcare teams.
- Monitorresident health initiate interventions and coordinate ancillaryservices.
- Ensure compliance with regulationsstandards and quality assuranceactivities
- Communicate with residents familiesand healthcare providers.
- Participate ininterdisciplinary meetings and care planningsessions.
Requirements :
- Current & good standing RN License in State of NewYork
- Experience with geriatric / short termrehab / Alzheimers patients isdesirable
- Progressive nursing experiencesupervisory experience preferred.
- 23 yearsnursing experience; leadershippreferred.
- Clinical assessment communicationand organizational skills.
- Knowledge oflongterm care regulations andpolicies.
- Dedicated to providing extraordinaryquality compassionate care to eachresident
- Genuinely interested in helping illinjured disabled & elderly
- Have patience& willingness to assist any residents &coworkers
- Have excellent communicationinterpersonal customer service & organizationskills
- Able to work well under pressureflexible & will work harmoniously with allstaff
