Senior Accountant

We are on the lookout for a meticulous and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will work independently to manage key accounting functions and become the go-to expert for your areas of responsibility.

This role demands a sharp eye for detail, strong critical thinking skills, and a passion for process enhancement.

Key Qualifications :

• Expertise in GAAP : Strong grasp of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• ERP Experience : Proficiency with Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Excel Skills : Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Analytical Abilities : Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Teamwork and Independence : Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

Required Experience :

• Minimum of 5 years as a Senior Staff Accountant.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Bilingual (Spanish & English) is a huge PLUS
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage the fixed asset database; create monthly fixed asset and depreciation entries.
• Support the accounting team with journal entries, account reconciliations, and accuracy reviews of financial transactions.
• Collaborate with the Controller to review monthly financial statements, identify discrepancies, and provide detailed explanations.
• Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes in partnership with the Controller.
• Assist in preparing for the annual audit.
• Provide support to the CFO and Controller on special projects.

• Position is onsite Monday-Friday (8am-5pm)
