Job Title : Project Engineer
Job Overview : As a Project Engineer, you are process minded and an eloquent communicator who can adapt to different personalities and various project conditions.
The Project Engineer is responsible for creating and processing Submittals, RFI’s, and all Document Controls to support project activities through project resolution.
The Project Engineer will assist and support the Project Manager by interacting with trade partners, field supervisors, owner representatives, engineers, and architects to ensure quality and timely completion of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in the development and management of projects
- Work in conjunction with the coordination teams, management teams, and field staff
- Support Contract administration (Document Controls)
- Support Scheduling / Supply Chain / Estimating
- Material and equipment procurement and expediting
- Shop drawing and submittal review and coordination
- Some Project Cost reviews, reporting, updating, and accounting
- Creation of RFI documents as needed
- Attend project meetings and generate meeting minutes and log
- Quality Control Documentation
- Generate / Create Close-Out Documentation
- Ongoing Training (Field Related)
Qualifications :
- A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Manufacturing / Construction Management, Engineering, or some Construction related field) or at least 1-3 years of position-related experience
- Strong technical and administrative skills along with the ability to be organized
- Multi-tasking skills and the ability to coordinate work on several facets of a project
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read Construction Documents with some scope take ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) / Google Docs, Microsoft Project, Blue Beam OSTO, and other project-related software programs
- Salary Range : $65-95k
