License : Current RN License from the relevant state board, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
Must-Have :
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Proficiency in English (Reading, Writing, Speaking)
Job Description :
- Provide nursing care in a hospital setting to patients with varying health problems
- Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients
- Document responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments
- Note changes in physician orders
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
- Monitor physiological data and intervene as necessary
- Administer prescribed medications and manage intravenous infusions and blood products
- Deliver competent patient care
- Engage with patients and family regarding care plans and hospital procedures
- Refer patient care needs to appropriate personnel
- Delegate tasks to support staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
