What You Bring to the Role

• 5-8 years of overall work history experience or 3 years of Professional Experience in software development or systems administration (not school-related IT experience).
• Understanding of basic programming concepts and logic. Familiarity with any programming language, such as Python, Ruby, Go, Java, or JavaScript, is advantageous.

Must have skillset in 1 programming language.

• Proficiency in using CLI in a Unix / Linux environment. Basic command line navigation, file manipulation, and scripting skills are beneficial.
• Understanding of version control systems, especially Git.
• Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts, including IP addressing, subnets, and basic understanding of protocols like TCP / IP.
• Basic understanding of web technologies, including HTTP / HTTPS protocols, DNS, and web servers.
• Awareness of basic virtualization concepts and technologies, such as virtual machines (VMs) and containers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication and collaboration skills.
• A candidate with a growth mindset and a strong interest in continuous learning is likely to thrive in a fast-paced DevOps and SRE environment.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and an understanding of iterative development processes.
• Must have a bachelor's or master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Working SQL knowledge with relational databases.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
• Availability to travel (80% after training portion) and live in the U.S.
• Nice-to-have : Relational SQL and NoSQL databases, concepts of Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell.
