What You'll Do :
- Fieldwork with daily local travel in a company-provided vehicle.
- Opportunity for overtime and weekend shifts.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repair tasks on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, and HVAC units.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions at the shop and at customer locations and manage the necessary repairs.
- Capable of working independently or collaboratively with other technicians to install and operate equipment in the field or at the shop.
What We're Looking For :
- High School diploma / GED or equivalent work experience.
- 4-7 years of experience in maintaining and repairing power generators and / or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections.
- Proficiency in working with 3-phase 480-volt electrical equipment.
- Capability to calculate nominal and effective tonnage / kW requirements, interpret schematics.
- EPA section 608 Universal Certification required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Able to lift objects weighing less than 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work after hours and weekends during peak periods.
