Position Summary : The Head of Account Management and Revenue Operations will spearhead the development and integration of sales strategies and operational systems to support teams across the advertising and data organization, and our advertising clients.

This role demands close collaboration with Ad Operations, Sales, Data / Measurement and Product teams and will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented team player with experience in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

Key to success in this role are strong skills in KPI reporting, project and account management, and a results-driven approach to execution.

Key Responsibilities :

Client Journey Oversight : Manage the end-to-end advertiser journey from media planning, initial IO and flight plan creation, through document signing, to delivering client reports.

The role includes responsibility for overseeing account management for both managed service and programmatic executions.

  • Information Management : Develop and maintain comprehensive information repositories to ensure consistent and accurate materials across all revenue and ad operations teams.
  • Pricing Operations : Oversee the management and regular updates of rate cards and pricing strategies, incorporating market feedback and data insights.

Work closely with Sales leadership to maintain, train, and communicate rate cards and pricing strategies for managed service campaigns and programmatic floors.

Strategic Alignment & Process Improvement : Design and implement strategies, programs, and processes to synchronize sales and support efforts and drive alignment across teams.

In addition, identify and act on opportunities for process improvements, developing and implementing new programs and tools as needed.

  • KPI Tracking : Collaborate with the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to monitor and analyze short-term and long-term Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) crucial for business success.
  • CRM Leadership : Lead CRM projects and initiatives, including sales pipeline management, order management, and assess business impact and ROI.
  • Program Integration : Create and integrate programs and processes that align sales, B2B marketing strategies, and ad operations.
  • Sales Collaboration : Work with Sales to identify customer needs and gaps in current product offerings, recommending custom solutions to enhance product development.
  • Customer Retention : Implement and monitor advertiser retention metrics, including churn forecasting and developing strategies to mitigate potential losses.

Qualifications :

  • Experience building revenue and account management operations functions and teams from an early stage
  • 5-8+ years of relevant revenue operations, account management, and planning experience. Experience in the Ad Tech industry and / or Digital Publishing highly preferred!
  • Project and account management experience
  • In-depth knowledge of CRM and Order Management Systems
  • Strong ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Proven ability to proactively identify and resolve technical and operational issues.
  • Experience managing and leading teams, with a player / coach mindset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.

Preferred Experience :

  • Previous experience in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Previous experience ad tech, publisher and / or digital media company
