Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) was created with the purpose of providing integrated enterprise IT support to Federal customers both CONUS and OCONUS. CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.

Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer who will report to the Enterprise Management Engineering team. This position will be responsible for coordinating with network engineers with the configuration and access of the Government Customer's Enterprise Infrastructure of all assets relating to Enterprise Management monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Providing fault and performance monitoring and proactive event management service utilizing EM standard tools for supported systems.
• Provide analysis and recommendations pertaining to network optimization and enhancements in order to support integration with Enterprise Management tools.
• Participate in customer, contract, and vendor meetings as required.
• Participate in designing, engineering, documenting, and coordinating recommended changes to system architecture to accommodate Enterprise Management support.
• Working with the Customer's network infrastructure.
• Working with routers, bridges, switches, storage area networks, network security, and network management systems in a UNIX and Windows environment.
• Engage in supervisory responsibilities
• Provide the integration of event and incident ticketing systems.
• Provide the integration of the event and email system.
• Other duties as assigned.
