What would you do as a Mechanical Project Manager
As a Mechanical Project Manager at RQ Construction, you will work alongside our Self-Perform and Project teams with a common goal of completing a quality project.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve overseeing mechanical subcontractors, coordinating various project activities, and ensuring that all mechanical aspects of the project are carried out efficiently.
You will be involved in managing project timelines, communicating with stakeholders, and resolving any mechanical issues that may arise on site.
Collaboration with the team will be key as you work towards successful project completion. Your attention to detail and mechanical expertise will play a crucial role in the overall success of your assigned construction projects.
Are you the Mechanical Project Manager we're looking for?
To excel as a Mechanical Project Manager at RQ Construction, LLC, you must possess a strong background in project management, including the direction and coordination of mechanical construction activities.
Proficiency in utilizing project management software and tools is essential for effectively managing budgets, project specifications, and timelines.
Additionally, a minimum of five years of experience in commercial and industrial project management is required to ensure you can hit the ground running and contribute to the success of our projects.
Your ability to efficiently communicate with subcontractors, interpret project requirements, and make strategic decisions will be critical in fulfilling the responsibilities of this role.

Pay : 95-120k per year
Qualifications Include :
- A 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management, is preferred. A High School Diploma or GED is the minimum formal education required for this position.
- Courses in Project Management, construction management, and mechanical trade school are preferred.
- Five or more years of experience as a Project Manager responsible for numerous projects and sizes (preferably of the mechanical scope) are desired.
- Five or more years, (or equivalent), field or trade work experience with mechanical systems is highly desirable.
- Experience working on government, military, commercial, or industrial projects is highly desirable.
- Computer literacy, including, Outlook, Word, Excel, Oracle, and Primavera P6, are preferred. Training is available.
- Specific software literacy, i.e. BIM, is preferred. Training is available.
- Regular travel to jobsites is expected.
