The Medical Short-Stay Unit (MSU) is a dynamic 38-bed medical-surgical unit where you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment. Here, we specialize in caring for patients with an anticipated stay of five days or less. With features like telemetry monitoring and a collaborative care model, you’ll work alongside dedicated professionals to ensure seamless patient experiences.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered clinical care.
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, utilizing comprehensive data.
• Communicate and document assessments with the interdisciplinary team.
• Develop and document individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Adhere to organizational policies, including safety and medication protocols.
• Revise care plans based on ongoing evaluations.
• Complete clinical research utilization forms to contribute to nursing research.

Physical Requirements

This role involves medium work, requiring the ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds frequently. Expect to engage in frequent walking, standing, or squatting.

Compensation

Pay Range : $37.18 - $49.92

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant. Pay may be adjusted based on experience, qualifications, specialty, and other factors.
