Work Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM; Occasional early morning, evening and / or weekend hours. Telecommute eligible (work onsite as scheduled and / or as requested and telecommute as scheduled)

Job Summary : Cal State Fullerton (CSUF) Extension collaborates with University departments and colleges on unique programs for students from the community and around the world.

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as the Program Developer (Extended Education Specialist II). The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude and a commitment to diversity, openness, flexibility, integrity, and kindness.

About the Position : Under the general direction of the Executive Director, the Program Developer has a growth-oriented role to develop and administer self-supporting professional education and workforce development programs that meet the training needs of corporate and community partners.

The Program Developer will cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with leading employers and university stakeholders, actively bringing programs from ideation to development and continual assessment.

Essential Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited four-year college or university, preferably with courses in adult education and curriculum planning.

Three years of experience planning classes and curriculum for higher or extended education programs. Knowledge of educational program and curriculum planning and development.

Preferred Qualifications : Master’s degree from an accredited college or university strongly preferred. Experience developing and managing University academic programs in a self-support environment greatly preferred.

License / Certifications : A Valid California Driver’s License and reliable means of transportation.
