BUSINESS ANALYST I

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Billing Data Analyst.

Position type : Full-Time, Contract

Location : Houston, TX 77002-(Once a month)

Duration : 12 months with possible extension

As a Billing Data Analyst , you will :

• The manager is looking for a BA who is Analytical and a little bit of technical.
• Nice-to-have : 60 analytical / 40 technical.
• Day in the life : Billing data in the Retail Ops group
• Excel : VLOOKUP’s, Pivots, Delimited, etc
• SQL : will need to be comfortable running the data and understand queries, but won’t need to write queries, but will need to be aware of when things might need to change in the queries
• Nice-to-Have : experience updating Power BI
• Will start with one pod but will need to be flexible to move from one group to another.
• Education : min any bachelor’s degree; 4-5+ years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree
• Experience : prefers min 1 year of experience, but if VERY strong, will consider less than 1 year
• Regulatory considerations
• Someone needs to understand the larger picture and the large ramifications of their actions
• Gas / Power billing experience would be VERY helpful to have.
• Location : Hybrid, only Moments that Matter
• Interview : Video (hypothetical / scenario questions)

Top skills :

• Detail oriented.
• Adaptability
• Analysis from a technical perspective
• Some experience with looking at PBI and familiarity with pulling SQL data with existing queries.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS :

Pay Range* : $25-$28 per hour.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
