RN Medical / Surgical PostOp PostOp experiencerequired.
Phase 1 Recovery unit with patient diagnoses ofOutpatient / Inpatient / Critical Care Gyn CSections ENT OphthalmologyGU General Ortho XI Robotics Neurospine Podiatry Cath Lab and IRprocedures completed on patients ranging in age from Pediatrics toGeriatrics.
Documentation System : EPIC Optime
Medication System : Pyxis
Dress code : Blue hospital laundered scrubsw / Ochsner logo closed shoes no artificial / gel nails no nail polishif scrubbing cases facial hair must be covered by beard covers hairmust be covered by surgical cap.
West BankSpecific Details : (180bed facility) 8 PACU Beds 5 Holding BedsTeaching facility Trauma Level III 1 : 1 & 1 : 2 Nurse / PatientRatio Floating is rare but required to like procedural areas (SDS)call requirement for Hurricane call team when applicable.
Scheduled bySupervisor for 5 days / week and 8hrs / day MF
Call Shifts(total btwn eve / wknd approx. 810 days per month)
