We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is a full-time, permanent position where you will be providing high-quality sub-acute care to our patients.

This role involves a range of tasks including patient care, blood draws, and other nursing duties. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years of experience in the medical field, with a focus on sub-acute care.

Responsibilities

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will be expected to perform the following duties

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a sub-acute setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician.
• Conduct blood draws and other medical procedures as required.
• Monitor patients' health conditions, take vital signs, and report any changes to the supervising RN or physician.
• Administer medications as prescribed by the physician and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
• Assist with patient hygiene, mobility, and comfort.
• Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
• Educate patients and their families about their health condition and the care they are receiving.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of the highest quality of patient care.
• Adhere to infection-control protocols to maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications

• Current and valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license from the state.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in sub-acute care.
• Proficiency in performing blood draws and other medical procedures.
• Excellent patient care skills with the ability to respond to patient needs with compassion and efficiency.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
• Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations related to patient care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining patient records and documentation.
• Physical stamina to work long hours and meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
