Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

As a Billing Specialist, you will...

• Enter members served information, enrollment, eligibility information and billing data into County IRIS.
• Reconcile Caminar data to County IRIS data to ensure that all services have been billed accurately and within required timeframes.
• Perform computer interface (uploads) of data to Corporate office.
• Update Health Benefit eligibility verification for all members served on a monthly basis.
• AssistsBusiness Office Manager with all aspects of payroll preparation, accounts payable, and invoice research.
• Assists the Business Office Manager with private insurance billing, verifying coverage and mailing bills.
• Verify benefit status on new members served.
• Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted and / or changed at the discretion of management.

Education and / or Experience :

• 1+ Years of General Office Experience (does not have to be in healthcare!)

Computer Skills : Insurance Portals, Microsoft Applications (Excel), Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Systems

Job Type : 3-4+ Month Temp / Contract

Pay : $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule :

M-F, 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm
