A family of four, in Harlem, needs to hire a college-educated, experienced, Nanny / Family Assistant to handle after-school care for their two children (late elementary / early middle-school age) and assure that the home is running smoothly.
Responsibilities include school pick-up, taking the children to their after-school sports & activities, homework help, childrens housekeeping & laundry, and ensuring the children are fed and ready for dinner, managing the family calendar, overseeing vendors in the home, household errands and ordering, booking travel and scheduling appointments, and special projects as they arise.
Applicants would ideally be able to pitch in with the occasional family dinner or assist with minimal meal prep. All applicants must be COVID vaccinated, should be able to swim, have the ability to travel with the family (especially during summer and school holidays), be college-educated (related degree a plus), and ideally, will have a drivers license.
The ideal schedule will be from Monday to Friday, 12 6 / 7pm (family will guarantee 30 hours). Competitive salary.
