Floor Management and Guest Relations
- Work with managers to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
- Promptly report any guest issues to the Director of Operations
- Liaise between hourly and management staff to ensure each guest receives the proper level of hospitality. Go above and beyond to please all guests.
- Work with the BOH team to ensure guest satisfaction on each dish.
- Provide the BOH team with any guest feedback that you may have received.
- Ensure floor managers are remaining on the floor and admin time is reserved for non-service hour
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
The Restaurant manager must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job using a combination of skill and abilities :
- Previous experience in food service or other related fields
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Thorough knowledge of Food and Beverage operations.
- Experience in leadership, and supervision
- High standards in service techniques and guest service
- Strong skill in math, percentages and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to walk, stand or bend continuously to perform essential job functions.
- Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in writing with guests employees.
- Ability to handle high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information and resolve problems
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods
