Who We're Looking For Toyota is looking for team members who are passionate about technology and interested in joining a collaborative and highly motivated team as a Safety Engineer – OneTech.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support and ensure that safety regulations, processes, and requirements are followed for the Cybersecurity and Connected Technologies lab.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Program, Governance, and Planning, the person in this role will join the Risk & Operations Management team to visualize and reduce Toyota's safety risk by integrating cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance disciplines.

This position is based in Plano, TX. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within a commutable distance of this location. What You'll Be Doing

• Acts as functional CCT Lab Safety expert and works with internal Toyota groups such as IT business Partners to maintain safety compliance
• Perform periodic audits of mandatory safety procedures and share results with the management team
• Coordinate with the Quality Safety group to complete required procedures related to a lab environment
• Coach Engineers working in the lab on hazard awareness and recognition
• Develop and maintain operating procedures to represent the status of all safety requirements
• Solves intermediate business problems within the team and projects
• Takes a 'functional' approach to identify opportunities and supports the team in creating solutions
• Capture and document daily safety procedures
