About The Position
- Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Emergency Department Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 3 : 00 PM - 3 : 00 AM Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years;
- Emergency Department experience required License : Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state of practice;
if residing in a National License Compact state, meet the licensure requirements of the home state Certifications : Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider status according to the American Heart Association, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required within 45 days Must-Have : English proficiency (speaking, reading, writing) Job Description : Collect data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or situation.
- Analyze assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues.- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or situation.
- Develop a plan that prescribes strategies to attain expected, measurable outcomes.- Implement the identified plan, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
- Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with legal or policy parameters.- Evaluate progress toward the attainment of goals and outcomes.
- Practice in a manner congruent with cultural diversity and inclusion principles.- Communicate effectively in all areas of practice.
- Collaborate with healthcare consumers and key stakeholders in nursing practice.- Demonstrate leadership in professional practice settings.

- Physical requirements include walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift and support 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
- Must have critical thinking skills and the ability to concentrate and respond quickly to changes in patient and / or unit conditions.
Additional Notes : - Required to wear navy blue scrubs.- Holiday restrictions apply : Labor Day Weekend (Fri-Mon) and Halloween.
Only one holiday off during Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, or New Year's Eve is permitted.
