Bachelor’s degree in a work-related discipline / field from an accredited college or universityExperience :
Two to three (2–3) years of progressively responsible and directly related experienceRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of Lean, JIT, Six Sigma, and / or Agile / Scrum techniquesProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, Project, and OutlookUnderstanding of strategic planning, leadership development, and program management principlesResponsibilities Sustainability Program Office Management
Coordinate Working Group meetings, including scheduling, content creation, standardized PowerPoints, notes, and action follow-upsManage award applications and reporting submissions, defining scope and deliverables, and coordinating with stakeholders and vendorsLead engagement events for Sustainability; coordinate research and resources for successful deliveryCollaborate with internal departments (Supply Chain, Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Services, etc.) to ensure consistent program applicationCoordinate and participate in staff training and competency assessments for program equipment, supplies, and techniquesDevelop unit programs, roles / responsibilities, and program algorithms as appropriateSeasonal and Executive Support Projects
Assist the Executive Director with seasonal, time-sensitive, cross-functional projectsProvide program leadership for assigned improvement initiatives using A3 documentation and standard methodologiesManage program design and structure to align with key organizational initiatives and projectsPrepare and maintain accurate, auditable records and cost estimatesParticipate in program office reporting, communicate results to leadership, and attend meetings to address program issuesThis position may require on-call availability during non-standard hours (nights, weekends, or holidays) to meet business needsDay-to-Day Tasks
