The Role

The Senior Financial Analyst for Commercial Services will be responsible for financial analysis, monthly close oversight, and budgeting / forecasting supporting the Commercial Services organization.

The role will also contribute to departmental reporting, global fund contribution analysis, prepare ad hoc analysis and participate in projects as needed.

  • Complete / oversee monthly financial responsibilities for various commercial services departments including variance analysis, budget development and re-forecasting, and accruals.
  • Serve as primary / initial point of contact with commercial services business contacts on financial matters and related questions.
  • Work closely with the manager and Sr. manager to enhance the fund contribution process, including analysis and reporting.
  • Identify areas of opportunity and efficiency savings in areas of responsibility.
  • Leverage statistical and operational data to draw a correlation between periodic operational and financial results.
  • Gather and report information for annual regulatory reporting as well as year-end audit reporting.
  • Help in addressing any ad hoc requests daily.
  • Actively pursue learning and self-development to enhance personal and professional growth.

Qualifications

Experience Required :

Three to five years in finance and / or accounting.

Experience Preferred :

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and / or finance.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or equivalent preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
