Due to retirement and practice growth, Care New England is seeking an obstetrician-gynecologist to join our community practice and to support Kent Hospital , the largest community hospital in Rhode Island.
Kent Women’s Care Center team is committed to providing quality care and services to our community. Our unit is made up of board-certified physicians, advanced practice clinicians, highly skilled registered nurses, certified in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) and international board-certified lactation consultants.

- Guaranteed Base Salary, sign-On, uncapped RVU and comprehensive benefits including malpractice, retirement employer match and CME
- Light rotational call schedule including only 1 weekend per month & 1 night per week
- Six large private labor and delivery suites and two dedicated state of the art operating suites that are dedicated for our obstetrical patients
- Teaching and non-teaching available, with appointment with Brown University and / or New England College of Osteopathic Medicine
- Kent Hospital is a 359 Bed acute care and Top 250 Hospital (Healthgrades) and is a Baby Friendly Designation hospital.
- Collaborative care with Women & Infants and Brown sub-specialty physicians
- Kent Hospital , the second largest hospital in Rhode Island and a Designated Baby-Friendly USA hospital, provides the spectrum of primary and acute care services, including cardiology enhanced by a clinical affiliation with Brigham and Women’s Hospital;
- a MBSAQIP-Accredited Comprehensive weight loss surgery center; Emergency Department with rapid assessment; the Breast Health Center at Kent, a collaboration with Women & Infants Hospital;
- The Spaulding Rehabilitation Center at Kent, offering inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation; the state’s only 24-hour emergency hyperbaric oxygen facility;
a CARF-accredited stroke center; and an ambulatory surgery center.
Care New England is a hospital system affiliated with Brown University. We provide the full range of wellness, primary care, medical and surgical services and home care including specialty hospitals in psychiatry as well as women and newborn care.
Teaching programs include family medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, gastroenterology, podiatric medicine and surgery as well as general and subspecialty obstetrics and gynecology.
