Outpatient Licensed Therapist - LCSW, LMFT or LPC - Torrington, CT - Hybrid

As an Independent Licensed Therapist, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical services to patients in an in-person, office-based environment.

This position is within our Refresh Mental Health (RMH) organization, which provides a variety of behavioral and mental health treatments, including individual and group therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatient programs.

We seek a full-time and part-time Independent Licensed Therapist for our Torrington, CT location (opportunities available in Canton and Thomaston, CT).

Primary Responsibilities :

• Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders
• Provide treatment for a variety of mental health conditions using treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods
• Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications

Required Qualifications :

• Obtains an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT for practice in Connecticut
• 1+ years of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting
• Experience with health psychology
• Experience working with children or adolescents
• Experience with family counseling
• Comfortable working with a wide range of clinical presentations
• Proven ability to work with patients in person and telehealth
• Hybrid role in Torrington, CT (2-3 days remote and office based)

Preferred Qualification :

• Clear and active LCSW, LMFT or LPC licensed in Connecticut
• 2+ years of clinical experience treating patients with behavioral health conditions
• Hospital based experience
• Proven ability to maintain effective and professional relationships with patient and other members of the care team
• Proven solid grasp of technology solutions and tools and ability to adapt
• Proven evidence of working effectively and collaboratively with colleagues
• Proven to be self-motivated, ambitious, and able to quickly build rapport with clients
• Proven solid computer and basic technology skills are needed

Connecticut Residents Only : The salary range for this role is $58, to $, annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
