The Swift Group is seeking a Data Scientist to be part of a creative internal team to provide data science expertise supporting a growing and diverse Sponsor mission set.
The candidate will bring knowledge of data analytics along with development skills to create methodologies, tools, scripts, and analytics to automate and enhance analytical processes to bring additional insights to Targets from large complex datasets.
The position requires a creative thinker who is able to rapidly learn the principles of scientific and technical fields in order to apply them in innovative ways to the assigned problem sets.

Required Skills
- A minimum of 8 years' experience with a bachelor’s degree; 4 years with a master’s degree or 2 years with a Ph.D. as a Data Scientist or relevant field supporting the DOD / IC.
- Demonstrated experience designing, creating tables, views, relationships, and scripting (SQL) with database systems (e.
g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL, NOSQL, and / or structured and unstructured data).
- Applicable experience with implementing and using extract, transform, and load (ETL) tools.
- Applicable experience implementing, using, and creating Data Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) or data services.
- Applicable experience with Python, Java, and Scala programming languages.
- Applicable experience implementing, using, and creating data visualizations.
- Applicable experience implementing, using, or creating ML / AI software, tools, and services.
- Applicable experience using or creating Amazon Web Services (AWS)-based analytic tools and services and using and implementing Apache Hadoop.
- US citizenship and an active TS / SCI with Polygraph government security clearance.
