Job Summary And Qualifications

The RegisteredNurse (RN)CMis responsible forpromoting patient-centered care by coordinating the plan of care for the patient stay, managing the length of stay, ensuringappropriate resourcemanagement,and developing a safeappropriate dischargeplan in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.The RN CM facilitates the progression and transition of care using established criteria and in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team.The RN CM will coordinate activities that promote quality outcomes and patient throughput while supporting a balance ofoptimalcare andappropriate resourceutilization.

Oviedo Medical Center is a 64-bed acute care hospital. We serve east Seminole County and surrounding communities. We offer a full range of healthcare services. Our services include surgical inpatient units and intensive care. We deliver 24 / 7 emergency care. Our hospital offers medical cardiology and telemetry. We provide inpatient and outpatient surgery, and women’s services including labor and delivery. Our hospital offers comprehensive diagnostic imaging.
