Job Overview
Join our team in "Doing the Most Good" as a Bookkeeper Clerk at our Adult Rehabilitation Center. We're seeking a detail-oriented and skilled professional to handle our financial transactions and maintain accurate records. This role is crucial in supporting our mission through efficient financial operations, accurate bookkeeping, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.
Pay Rate : $13.00 per hour
Status : Part Time, 25 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations
- Process transactions using Shelby Systems accounting software
- Handle accounts payable, including check processing and vendor management
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Reconcile daily sales and bank statements
- Process and reconcile CounterPoint POS reports
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain organized filing systems for checks and financial documentsPrepare financial reports for Adult Rehabilitation CenterGenerate Rags Sales & Vehicle Sales ReportsHandle auto donations processAssist with internal audit preparationsAccount Management
Process internal and external voucher billing through Shelby Accounts ReceivableMonitor and communicate about open AR accountsIdentify and post incoming wire transfersPrepare weekly gratuitiesMaintain vendor documentation and prepare 1099 processing listsQualifications
Education & Experience
High School Degree requiredPreferred : Accounting Certificate or 2-year associate's degree in related fieldMinimum two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and WordSkills & Abilities
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracyStrong analytical skills with ability to identify data trendsSuperior written and oral communication abilitiesExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to maintain strict confidentialityTeam-oriented with strong interpersonal skillsWhat We Offer
