About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

Experience : 18 months minimum experience required

License : IN license required

Certifications : ACLS, BCLS, RRT

Must-Have :

NBRC (RRT) certification required.

EOW shifts required.

First-time travelers accepted.

Description :

The position requires a registered respiratory therapist.

Responsibilities include providing care for patients with respiratory conditions.

Candidates must have experience in adult critical care.

Skills include troubleshooting high-pressure alarms and weaning from mechanical ventilation.

The candidate should be able to interpret arterial blood gases and perform extubation.

Experience with various modalities, such as BiPAP and CPAP, is necessary.

Candidates must float between assigned facilities.

Individuals should have documented experience in an ICU setting.

Additional qualifications include performing tracheostomy care and Sputum specimen collection.

The role involves working with a diverse patient population, including adults and geriatrics.

Candidates must provide two supervisor references.

The education must be accredited through the proper channels.
