Oem Program Manager For Engine Accessories

Summary : The OEM Program Manager for Engine Accessories oversees all aspects of managing the business between VSE and two major OEM partners. This individual will have a complete market understanding along with high-level technical product expertise to produce deliverables to all internal and external stakeholders. This will require cross-functional work with the following contributing groups : Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Production, Engineering, Quality, Operations, Customer Network Management, Legal, Finance, and others. This individual will help develop and contribute toward the execution of financial targets in line with the long-term strategic vision for this high-profile program.

Duties & Responsibilities :

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Manages team that will serve as single point of contact, face of VSE to major OEM partners.

Responsible for understanding OEM requirements (technical, schedule, reporting) and ensuring they are met. This requires leading a team that successfully works cross-functionally within VSE and externally as needed to pull together all deliverables on schedule.

Develop a complete understanding of market dynamics and product lifecycle in order to help VSE maintain optimal processes and policies that will provide the most benefit to the program long-term.

Key aspects include strategic network planning, contract development & negotiations, contract administration, partner site audits of systems and processes, internal financial tracking and reporting, ensuring supplier scorecard metrics are understood and met.

Gather high-level engineering requirements and communicate internally with the VSE program team.

Leads a team that can work cross functionally internally and with MRO network to develop and communicate product improvements, push through to approval with OEM partners.

Minimum Requirements :

Bachelors degree in engineering, Business Administrations, or a related field OR an additional 3 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree.

6-7 years of relevant / technical work experience and 4-7 years of leadership experience.

Ability to influence a diverse list of Stakeholders to successful delivery outcomes.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and scheduling applications.

Preferred Requirements :

The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.

Masters degree in business, customer service, supply chain or equivalent experience.

10+ years prior experience of progressive leadership in aviation MRO / OEM industry.

5+ years of large-scale program management experience.

5+ years in the aviation industry.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

Strong written and oral communication skills.
