Job Summary
Conduct outreach efforts designed to promote specific programs offered through the Office of Scholarship and Financial Aid.
Represent the Office and Institute before various constituencies. This position will interact with prospective and enrolled students, parents, staff, and external entities, advising and counseling them as needed.
Responsibilities
- Serve as liaison to and is responsible for special programs and groups including those not offered on main campus.
- Conduct specialized reviews of costs and eligibility on an individualized basis.
- Represent the office and Institute at functions both on and off campus making speeches and giving presentations.
- Meet with office visitors and students regarding information on programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements : Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Experience : Four to six years of job-related experience.
This position must be available to work standard GT business hours M-F, 8-4 : 30. The first 2 months of employment are fully in-person / on-site.
Following this, some telecommuting will be available in accordance with OSFA's guidelines.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
This job requires working knowledge of promotional program development and implementation. Skills in communications, public speaking, presentation, and customer service are required.
