Job Summary

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for culinary excellence and innovative service? Wolfgang Puck Catering is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee our cafe and amenity space.

In this role, you will drive operational success, manage financial performance, and lead a diverse team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

• Take ownership of operations, ensuring all service timelines and other deadlines set by management or clients are met.
• Oversee all aspects of food service management with a proven track record of success.
• Manage all financials, including planning, budget development and analysis, and financial reporting.
• Ensure P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience.
• Hire, train, and orient new management associates.
• Conduct management meetings and demonstrate initiative and good judgment in assisting customers, clients, peers, and subordinates.
• Interact professionally with a diverse group of associates, peers, managers, suppliers, clients, and customers.
• Think quickly and accurately, evaluate problems, and make appropriate recommendations.
• Audit units to ensure conformance with company, government, and accrediting agency standards, regulations, and codes regarding food storage, preparation, sanitation, and record-keeping.
• Utilize POS and phone app ordering systems for the cafe.
• Oversee private event catering to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications :

• B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology / Management or related field; or A.A. Degree plus five to seven years of directly related experience preferred.
• Minimum of five years of retail operational foodservice management experience preferred, flexible depending upon formal degree or training.
• Multi-unit management experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, marketing, and presentation.
• Retail marketing experience is highly desirable.
• Supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate at various levels including management, customer, and associate levels.
• Knowledge of financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational practices.
• Proficient computer skills, including various computer programs, Microsoft Office programs, email, and the Internet.
